Minister of Climate Protection and Infrastructure Leonore Gewessler This afternoon (Greens) will meet for the first time in a large group via video conference with the nine regional transportation councils to negotiate the implementation of the 1-2-3 ticket. Gewessler also expects phase “3”, that is, an annual ticket, which on all public transport in Austria for 1095 euros (three euros a day) will be applied next year: “The target is the first half of 2021,” says Gewessler in a media talk in the run-up to the conference. For individual transport association annual ticket holders who want to switch to the new ticket in the course of 2021, there should be an aliquot solution.
