A 28-year-old man fell head first from the roof of a farm in Eferding on Friday afternoon. He hit the concrete ceiling of the barn and sustained serious injuries. The ER doctor treated the man at the scene of the accident, then took him to the Wels Clinic, Upper Austrian police reported.
The 28-year-old helped a 44-year-old friend remove the shingles. As he was about to walk down the centennial roof structure, he grasped a slat with his hands. The weight of the bar broke the bar and the young man fell to the roof of the barn.
