At the moment, the authorities are very busy with contact tracing. “We have practically stopped normal operations today, apart from the dates that have already been agreed, and we have deployed all available employees to do so,” reports District Commissioner Martina Gerersdorfer. Despite the rapid increase in numbers, the head of authorities was also surprised that the district traffic light immediately jumped from yellow to red. “But we do not know what criteria the Commission uses in the background to make decisions.”
It is not yet clear what exactly the color red means for the district. The district authority is still awaiting the new regulation with the exact rules and restrictions. Of course, it will be posted immediately on the BH home page. It should go into effect on Sunday.
More information on Corona restrictions and what applies when it can be found on the NÖN homepage can be found in the article: Corona Rules: What applies now?
