The corona vaccine from American biotech company Moderna is about to receive emergency approval in the US On Thursday, an FDA advisory group approved the approval. This means that the second corona vaccine should be approved in the United States in the next few days and used next week. It would be the world’s first approval of the Moderna complex. The EU aims for vaccination to start on December 27. Next Monday, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) will issue its recommendation for the approval of the Biontech and Pfizer vaccine. If this turns out to be positive, the EU Commission wants to make a quick decision on market approval in two days. The EMA has scheduled a special meeting on January 6 to assess Moderna’s readiness.
