Gunskirchen.

Unfortunately, on Friday morning there was no rescue for a horse that fell into a well on a farm property in Gunskirchen (Wels-Land district).

Firefighters were called in to support the rescue of animals after a horse fell into a well. The horse is believed to have broke the rotten manhole cover and fell into the well. Two fire brigades participated in the rescue, as well as animal rescue and an on-site veterinarian. Unfortunately, the horse did not survive the tragic accident. He was only able to recover dead from the narrow shaft.
