Seven monoliths have already been discovered around the world, one of them also in Germany. Now the riddles in this country: What does the shiny triangular metallic object mean and how did it get there?

A stroller had discovered the silver thing; since then it has been disconcerting. Holger Klink, head of public relations at Sulzbach, excludes at least one thing: “It’s not from outer space. The wooden structure inside is very earthy ”, quoted by hessenschau.de.
The community does not know where the monolith comes from or what the action is about. “It could be a billboard. But we still have to get to the bottom of the puzzle, ”Klink admits.
The first monolith was discovered in November in the desert of Utah (USA). News of the discovery of this “unusual object” spread rapidly and caused speculation around the world. A few days later it suddenly disappeared, and the mystery grew even greater. Sculptor John McCracken immediately reminded many art experts of the objects. The American, who died in 2011, had lived and worked in New Mexico for a long time and made very similar independent objects in the shape of pyramids, cubes or polyhedra.
This was followed by finds in Atascadero (California in the US), Joshua Tree National Park (also California), Romania, England and the Netherlands.

Residents of the island in southern England accidentally discovered the thin reflected structure while strolling along the beach on the west side, as British media reported on Tuesday. Britain’s Alexia Fishwick told the PA news agency that acquaintances took photos of the monolith “really quite magical” for a Photoshop collage.
A metal pillar also appeared in a natural area in the north of the Netherlands. Walkers discovered them on Sunday morning in the De Kiekenberg nature reserve near Oudehorne in the northern province of Friesland.
That same night he had disappeared again. Who put the object there and then took it away is a mystery to residents and authorities. Even the otherwise very sober Frisians did not rule out the possibility that the monolith could be a “sign of aliens,” as viewers told the “Leeuwarder Courant.”
Is it an homage to the sci-fi movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, in which a similar object plays a role? Just kidding.Are there even aliens behind this, as some people speculate on the internet?
The most famous artist collective, which had been shown responsible for the monolith in Utah, rejected the suggestion that it might also have been active on the Isle of Wight.
