Vienna (OTS) – The master of the Federal Guild of Electrical Engineers, Andreas Wirth, reacts angrily and astonished to the current regulations regarding COVID measures for construction sites: “Austrian crafts and trade have shown in recent months that they are responsible in the current Corona situation and we are now making a significant contribution to employment and regional value creation. Until now there have been no groups on construction sites and yet now we are literally taking our breath away with the new regulations for the construction site from a 2 meter safety distance and protection for the mouth and nose. These unjustifiable regulations must be corrected immediately. Our employees must be given air to breathe again. ”
Andreas Wirth, who represents 7,700 power companies with more than 35,000 employees, also reminds us that starting this week even more tests will have to be carried out and that the outdoor mask requirement looks like a pure Chicana: “Our colleagues have to do hard work that doesn’t work with a mouth and nose guard. Anyone who makes such rules has no idea about the world of work on construction sites and it also hurts the economy and therefore all Austrians. “(PWK064 / SR)
