In the future, access to short-time work will be more strictly managed. In the first phase it was enough if the employees worked ten percent, temporarily even zero hours were possible. The salary adjustment was staggered: depending on the salary, you received 80, 85 or 90 percent of the last salary, regardless of the hours of work. Companies only paid for work actually performed, the rest of the work was done by AMS. It remains so. However, the minimum working time will be increased to 30 percent; It may only be reduced in exceptional cases with the consent of the social partners.
