A three-year-old boy accidentally shot himself at his own birthday party in the United States. Family and friends had gathered for the boy’s birthday in the town of Porter near Houston, Texas, the responsible police department said Monday.
While the guests were playing cards, they suddenly heard a gunshot and discovered the boy with a chest wound. The pistol fell out of a relative’s pocket.
The boy succumbed to his injury shortly after Saturday’s incident, he said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends in the face of this tragic accident,” police said.
