Surprisingly, Lech gets a vice mayor – Lech

In the Vorarlberg municipality of Lech, the constituent meeting of the municipal council took place on Friday afternoon. Surprisingly, Cornelia Rieser was elected deputy mayor from the “uf Weg” list by a large majority, according to ORF Vorarlberg.

With eight seats, the parliamentary group with the highest number of votes, “List Lech” of former mayor Ludwig Muxel, did not propose an election.

Stefan Jochum (Our Village) was elected the new mayor in the city council elections. The challenger beat Ludwig Muxel in the second round of the elections in late September, ending his 27-year term.
