Wörgl, Söll – Like every Saturday, yesterday was again a market day in the center of Wörgl. There is bustle in the stands, with the distance that is now known. But there are also some people who use the mask on the market. “I belong to the risk group and I use them often anyway,” says Maria de Wörgl. The fact that the Kufstein district is now marked yellow with the Corona traffic light has little effect on you.
“It is completely understandable that we have to react when the numbers increase. This is absolutely understandable to me, ”says Heinrich from Bad Häring. Conditions are not a big change for him, Astrid de Wörgl sees it that way too. She can also understand the start of the crown traffic light. “Personal responsibility is there, of course, but maybe the traffic light will make you more aware,” says the worker.
But not everyone knew about the new regulation yesterday. “I know that the traffic light was installed yesterday and I also heard that our district is not green. But I still don’t know exactly what that means, ”says Peter de Wörgl. But he’s relaxed on the matter because he’s a traveler and he’s used to wearing the mask anyway.

“I was surprised when I heard that yesterday, but I came here anyway,” says Thomas from Telfs, who was represented with a booth at the market. Think that the idea with the traffic light is good, it allows a good assessment of the situation. “Being careful is normal, we’ll do it anyway, and you may pay more attention to yellow,” says Thomas.
Tourists also visited the market yesterday in Wörgl. “We heard about the Corona traffic light, but it doesn’t affect our vacation,” Tanja and Michael describe. You come from Dortmund. “Here in Austria, the requirements are much more stringent, so here in Austria it is quite easy for us,” emphasize the couple. They learned the numbers in the region in advance and felt safe in Tyrol.

A similar image emerges in Söll. In the valley station of the new gondola, there were mainly tourists and day visitors. “We didn’t even know about the Corona traffic light,” confesses Ste-fan, who came to Hexenwasser with his wife Simone and daughter Magdalena for a day trip from Munich to Söll. “Anyway, we always have things like the mask, that’s not a problem for us,” explains the father of the family. Unlike Germany, it remains more flexible, even with tighter requirements. Tina and Otto from Hamburg also agree. You traveled to the Wilder Kaiser for the weekend. “We feel comfortable here, even in masks.”
