As a manager, he has had a picture book career. Siegfried Wolf, who everyone calls simply Sigi, made his way as a toolmaker and was a successful CEO of Magna International. At the end of 2010, a few months before his mentor Stronach retired, he moved to the kingdom of the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. There he still pulls the strings as chairman of the Supervisory Board of the vehicle manufacturer GAZ. But now he is about to crown his career in his home country. With the purchase of the MAN plant in Steyr, perhaps the last remaining dream would come true for the natives of eastern Styria.: Owning a world-class company, on par with the world’s industrialists. Wolf wants to take the Steyr truck brand to new heights.
