Lukas Spendlhofer will tie his football boots in Greece in the future.
As announced by first division club AE Larissa, the 27-year-old central defender will sign a contract until the summer of 2023 on Tuesday after completing medical tests. Last season, AE Larissa finished eighth in the table.
Spendlhofer, who moved to Sturm on the Mur in 2015, played a total of 184 games for the Graz team. The former interlegionary had no future under neo-coach Christian Ilzer.
After Stefan Schwab (PAOK), Emanuel Sakic, Fabian Ehmann (both Aris Thessaloniki) and Patrick Salomon (Atromitos Athens), five Austrians are now under contract in the country of the 2004 European champions.
