An 18-year-old was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Straßwalchen (Flachgau) on Thursday night. The driver had collided with another car driver in the area of an intersection on Mondsee Straße (B154) in the district of Irrsdorf. A total of three people were injured.
The collision occurred while driving into the intersection, police report in a broadcast. The 18-year-old tall Austrian collided with the car of a 26-year-old compatriot. While the 18-year-old driver suffered serious injuries, her passenger (18) and the 26-year-old girl were left with minor injuries. The seriously injured man was taken to Vöcklabruck hospital, as was the driver of the other car. The 18-year-old passenger was admitted to the Salzburg accident hospital.
The B154 was only passable on one lane during cleanup work. For this, 35 Floriani from FF Straßwalchen and Irrsdorf were used.
