In the Bergisel World Cup competition as part of the Four Hills Tournament in Innsbruck, ÖSV ski jumper Stefan Kraft was the eighth best Austrian on Sunday. Busy directly behind Michael Hayböck finished ninth. Yesterday’s second in the standings, Daniel Huber, couldn’t get past 17th place. A total of six ÖSV athletes were able to get on the points.
The victory in Innsbruck went to the Polish Kamil Stoch, who managed to prevail with 12 points of advantage over Anze Lanisek (SLO) and his compatriot Dawid Kubacki (13.3 points behind). In the overall ranking of the Four Hills Tournament, Stoch also takes the lead with today’s victory. The best Austrian is Philipp Aschenwald in ninth place.
Stefan Kraft: “I am very satisfied, the jumps were very good, very good. He was also close except for Kamil, who ripped us off a bit today and showed his sheer skill. ”
Michael Hayboeck: “I’m certainly not dissatisfied with today, even if it was finally very close to the podium. I attacked fully in the second jump and that was perhaps too much. ”
