His daughter Francesca, nine months old, died of a brain tumor on Christmas Eve.
“We are heartbroken to announce that our beautiful daughter Francesca passed away last night in the arms of her mother and father,” CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski, 31, wrote on Twitter Friday. He and his wife Rachel Louise Ensign now face a great loss. His daughter Francesca, nine months old, died on Christmas Eve; he had a brain tumor. “We are so grateful to have met your love. Francesca, we love you,” Kaczynski added on his Twitter post.

Little Francesca suffered from a particularly aggressive brain tumor. He battled cancer for months and even had to undergo multiple brain operations. When he had to return to the hospital, his parents were expecting a “Christmas miracle”. The CNN reporter asked his followers to pray for his daughter. Unfortunately, the prayers were not answered. The little boy died on Christmas Eve.
