Nicole Schmidhofer actually has other concerns after her serious knee injury.
However, as the numerous and sometimes creative placement of sponsors on her hospital bed during a press conference drew criticism both in the media and on social media, the 31-year-old is now resolutely defending herself against these complaints.
“Please, that’s completely normal,” Schmidhofer explains on Instagram, “it was important to me that it was.

Schmidhofer is currently at the UKH in Graz after his fall from terror in Val d’Isere. The next operation would soon be on the “fix the knee” program.
“I’m fine from what you can see. I’m in very good hands in Graz, I have very good doctors around me. It’s almost like a luxury vacation, they do everything for me. I’m very grateful that it’s going so well,” Schmidhofer sees lots of light in the shadow of the injury.
