The FAC decides the small Viennese derby in the 7th day of the 2nd division against the Young Violets with 2: 1.
The Floridsdorfers happily set off at the local FAC-Platz. The defense of the guests is presented with gaps despite such well-known names as Christoph Schösswendter, Christian Schoissengeyr and Christoph Martschinko.
A shot from Sahanek can be disabled by Kos (23). In the 33rd minute, the young violets take the lead against the course of the game. After an alleged foul by Fila in an aerial combat, the referee decides penalties. Juki turns icy to 1-0.
In the 45th minute Hahn almost made it 2-0, but failed from a good position on pole. On the other hand, a shot over the head from Schmid missed the goal. In the second half, however, the FAC counterattacks.
A pass from Jurdik from the baseline makes Sahanek 1: 1 (56th), his fifth goal of the season. The Floridsdorfer remains on the trigger, the decision is worth seeing. After Sahanek’s corner kick, the Young Violets didn’t get the ball far, Lugonja went up and converted with a header to 2: 1 (80th).
The FAC climbs to sixth place with ten points, the Young Violets are still at the bottom of the table.
