According to the city administration, the highest alert level in the French capital could soon be declared. This applies in France, where the current 14-day number of ECDC cases is currently 232 / 100,000, so far only in the metropolitan area of the Mediterranean city of Marseille. Deputy Mayor Anne Souyris told Franceinfo that two of the three criteria for the highest level of corona warning were met in Paris: the number of new infections is more than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and 100 cases among the elderly.
