EC KAC returned the favor in the 31st round of the ICE Hockey League, home bet, by losing to the Graz99ers on Wednesday. The Carinthians finally deservedly win 6-2 in Graz.
Unlike Wednesday’s 1: 2 overtime loss, the Klagenfurt side took a 2-0 lead this morning. Lukas Haudum (7th) and Thomas Koch (18th / PP) deservedly brought the superior guests to the front. In the second half, the locals scored the connecting goal through Hunter Fejes (34th). Rok Ticar managed to establish a two-goal lead for KAC before the end of the third.
In the final section, the Graz team rose again, outnumbered. Matias Sointu (48th) brought the defeated home team back into the game with a shorthander. But it shouldn’t be enough for more for the “99ers”. KAC once again had the right answer and with three hits (Petersen, Bischofberger, Ganahl) in the final seven minutes, the final score was 6: 2.
