Sony announces price and sales start for PS5

[ad_1]

Now it’s been confirmed: Sony will offer the PlayStation 5 for the first time in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. In a presentation, the company announced that sales will begin on November 12. All other countries, including Austria, have to wait another week. The PlayStation 5 will be available over the counter starting November 19.

As predicted, Sony charges 499.99 euros for the PS5 with optical drive. The digital edition, which cannot read discs, costs 399 euros. This positions the narrowest version between the Xbox Series X and S, which cost 499.99 and 299.99 euros respectively. However, unlike the Xbox Series S, the Digital Edition did not save on performance. So if you can do without the unit, you get the most for 100 euros less with this variant.

Games for 80 euros

The games “Astro’s Playroom”, “Demon’s Souls”, “Destruction All Stars”, “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales” and “Sackboy A Big Adventure” will be available for release worldwide. For this, up to 80 euros are owed. PS Plus subscribers can access the best PS4 games. The PS Plus collection includes Batman Arkham Knight, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, God of War, Monster Hunter: World, and Persona 5, among others.
