Prince Azim, son of the Sultan of Brunei (74), has died at the age of 38.
“The son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah died on October 24 at around 10:08 am,” the Brunei press service announced.
The 38-year-old man is said to have suffered a serious illness and was in hospital for a long time. Exactly what he was suffering from was not revealed. According to “El Confidencial” it is said that he had cancer.
His father, Hassanal Bolkiah, is considered a sultan of terror. In 2014 it introduced the death penalty by stoning as part of the reintroduction of Sharia law, and last year the death penalty by stoning for homosexuals. Many celebrities had called for the hotels belonging to the sultan to be boycotted.
His own son, known for his wild parties, is said to have been gay. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton (42) had denounced the Sultan of Brunei’s second-born son as gay in a YouTube video.
