On Sunday there is a second chance for women in Kranjska Gora. Another giant slalom is on the Podkoren program. The start is earlier: the first round starts at 9:15 am, the second round at 12:15 pm Ticker LIVE >>>
The race will be opened by Mikaela Shiffrin (USA), followed by Saturday’s winner Marta Bassino (ITA). They are followed by Petra Vlhova (SVK), Michelle Gisin (SUI) and Federica Brigne (ITA).
Stephanie Brunner is the first Austrian to ride with the number 10. The zip line crashed on Saturday after good intermediate times. Katharina Liensberger is number 13.
With numbers 18, 19 and 20 they follow Katharina Truppe, Ricarda Haaser and Ramona Siebenhofer, who was the best Austrian on Saturday in seventh position.
Starting numbers of the other ÖSV women: 22 Franziska Gritsch, 38 Julia Scheib, 40 Elisa Mörzinger, 52 Rosina Schneeberger, 54 Katharina Huber.
Eva-Maria Brem, who finished six behind in Saturday’s first race at the end of qualifying, is not in ÖSV’s lineup.
