Ski jumping: Daniel Huber second in the standings in Innsbruck behind Granerud

Huber landed at 127.5 meters and was second at the Bergisel with 128.9 points, just 3.3 points behind Norsker. ÖSV’s second best man was World Cup champion Stefan Kraft, sixth. Philipp Aschenwald landed in tenth place.

Twelve of the 13 Austrians qualified for Sunday’s competition, including Gregor Schlierenzauer. Only Stefan Rainer missed the World Cup in 55th place. Circuit leader Granerud is four points ahead of German ski world champion Karl Geiger, who was seventh on Saturday in the circuit’s penultimate competition.
