Serious traffic accident on the Innkreis highway near Haag am Hausruck

On Thursday afternoon there was a serious traffic accident involving three vehicles at Innkreisautobahn, near Haag am Hausruck (Grieskirchen district).

The emergency services were alerted to a serious traffic accident with a person trapped in Innkreisautobahn in the direction of Wels. As it turned out, there was a serious traffic accident in the municipality of Weibern with a total of three vehicles involved, one of which was seriously damaged. Fortunately, contrary to early reports, no one was caught. The fire brigade secured the accident site and supported the towing companies in clean-up work. Fortunately, expired operational resources could be detected in time.

The Innkreis motorway was only accessible in one lane in the direction of the Voralpenkreuz junction between Haag am Hausruck and the Aistersheim service station at the scene of the accident. The backwater quickly reached a considerable length of about nine kilometers.
