The car’s gas tank was opened

The Vienna professional fire brigade used an extinguishing line under respiratory protection to fight the fire from the crashed vehicle and another fire line prevented the flames from spreading into the building. Since the fuel tank of one of the cars was opened, the flames quickly spread. Fighting the fire was difficult, so fire extinguishing foam had to be used. The three injured received emergency medical attention from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service and were taken to a hospital.
