STARGIRL, Season 1 (The CW): The DC-ArrowVerse of the American station The CW is growing. Courtney Whitmore, known for the teen series “Bella and the Bulldogs,” takes on the role of the young superhero Stargirl. The producer is Greg Berlanti, as well as for “Arrow”, “Legends of Tomorrow”, “The Flash”, “Supergirl” and more recently “Batwoman”. When and where, Netflix or Amazon Prime, the series appears in this country is not yet clear.
STUMPTOWN, Season 1 (Sky): In the film adaptation of Greg Rucka’s comic book of the same name, Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother”) plays the chaotic private detective Dex Parios in Portland (also known as “Stumptown”). As a former Marine in Afghanistan, he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, which means that he has no real control over his own life or that of his younger brother. But at least she always cleanses other people’s lives. For a fee, of course! The equally fun and action packed ABC crime drama can now be seen on Sky.
