A total event ban applies as of Tuesday, private parties outside the living space are prohibited. Since the number of people infected with Covid-19 is particularly high in Kuchl, the curfew in the community will also be brought forward to 5 p.m., the state announced Sunday night.
All celebrations and firefighting exercises are prohibited.
All sports and music festivals are affected by the event ban, and firefighting exercises and training are also included. “This is controlled extensively and rigorously by the executive,” the broadcast said Sunday night. Gyms will be closed for off-campus use and can no longer be rented to third parties. A maximum of 100 people is allowed to attend funerals. As an added measure for all of Tennengau, starting Tuesday, non-kindergarten children – that is, parents and other companions – can no longer enter the premises and must say goodbye to children at the gate.
Particularly strict measures at Kuchl
As a special measure for Kuchl, in addition to an earlier curfew in the catering sector at 5 pm, it was decided to ban visits to care facilities and for the elderly (except for palliative care). The measures for Tennengau and Kuchl are provisionally applicable from Tuesday, October 13 at 12:00 am to Monday, October 26 at 12:00 am
Contact tracing became difficult
The rapidly increasing number of cases made it difficult to trace contacts (contact tracing). While there were around 85 people undergoing active testing for Covid-19 in the Hallein district in the middle of last week, this number rose to 145 at 8:30 am on Sunday. Calculated for 100,000 inhabitants, this corresponds to 238 people in Tennengau, the national average is currently 90. In Kuchl, with 61 active cases, this value is 827.
