A 34-year-old man in Saalfelden im Pinzgau posed as a detective on Saturday night. The man reviewed four local men with whom he had previously had an argument, while handling a gun.

As announced by the police press office on Saturday morning, it is likely that the wrong police officer was blocked by several cars in a roundabout in Saalfelden before his “official act”. The 34-year-old Serbian was apparently so upset by the incident that he drove behind the four cars, driven by the young Pinzgauer between the ages of 18 and 20.

“Detective” shows gun

The men eventually stopped in the local Saalfelden area. The obviously angry 34-year-old stopped his car, got out of the vehicle and approached the four. It is said that he showed a blank pistol, the police confess. The Serbian posed as a criminal policeman and warned the youth about the earlier incident at the roundabout.

Men notify “real” police

After the “inspection”, the locals called the royal police. Due to the description of the perpetrator, the wrong police officer could be arrested after a short search and taken to the police station. After initially denying it, the 34-year-old admitted to the act. It turned out that there is an absolute ban on weapons against him. He is reported to the Public Ministry for presumption, dangerous threats and in accordance with the arms law.
