Today the elections for the municipal council and the district council took place. Read here how the results of the 2020 Vienna elections turned out.
VIENNA. The Viennese today had a choice. The municipal council and district councils were elected.
Exactly five years ago, on October 11, 2015, the result of the municipal council election was quite clear: the SPÖ managed to obtain 39.59 percent of the votes. Behind was the FPÖ with 30.79 percent, the Greens managed to convince 11.84 percent of the voters. The ÖVP only came in fourth place with 9.24 percent of the vote, ahead of Neos with 6.16 percent. Far behind in the last elections: the small parties with only between 0.01 and 1.07 percent.
