The man or woman, still unknown, left the B 311 between 23.30 and 0.45 am near Weißbach near Lofer and hit a tree. The vehicle was seriously damaged and was subsequently left on the road. However, when the rescue services and the police arrived, there were no other people near the car.

Even during a large-scale search with headlights and thermal imaging cameras, no one could be discovered in the vicinity of the crash site. At around 3.40 am, however, the passenger was investigated. Meanwhile, the ambulance had taken the Saalfelden man to Zell am See hospital with a dislocated shoulder and a head injury. How he got from the crash site to Saalfelden, more than ten kilometers away, and who was driving the vehicle, he couldn’t tell. Police investigations are ongoing.
