Due to storm gusts on a storm front, part of a tree fell on a parked car Monday night in Wels-Neustadt. Firefighters and emergency services released the driver of the truck.
The thick trunk of a tree probably broke due to strong gusts of wind from a storm front and crashed into a pickup truck parked in the Welser main station parking lot. The emergency services were alerted to rescue people. After the fire brigade authorized access to the vehicle, the ambulance service rescued the injured driver from the vehicle and turned him over to the Wels Clinic after first aid. The fire department then removed the sidewalk tree, bike path, and vehicle.
Gärtnerstrasse was difficult to cross for approximately three quarters of an hour.
