On the southern side of the Alps, experts from the Austrian Severe Weather Center UWZ expect heavy rains, which regionally also turn into snowfall. In parts of Vorarlberg, Tirol, Salzburg, and Carinthia, the red warning level (severe storm) was issued. In many other districts, advisories are also issued about the effects of abnormal weather.

Of the Tuesday usually starts cloudy and from Vorarlberg to Styria also very humid. Most of the rain falls in the south and the central mountainous region, and the snow line falls from the Kitzbühel Alps to the Dachstein-Tauern region in the morning even in many valleys.
