Red cities, high numbers: the next few weeks need common perspectives

The opposition is silent or curses.

The fight against the crown is a national emergency in France, Portugal and elsewhere; here it is a regional issue. On a small scale, measures are required and are now being implemented as well. Corona, however, an unsympathetic little thing, shows no understanding of the rich and well-crafted history of Austrian federalism. Who can refer to whom what, which corporation should spread the gossip about the virus, and who is offended by whom, the pathogen does not care.

Between those big images and the small measurements there is a lot of room to get lost. Are we falling behind when it comes to fighting viruses? Will the big hammer come the day after tomorrow anyway, but no one says?

Reducing this space is as important a task as fighting the virus, and more open. How to react virologically to the infection process has long been clear, there is no need for secrets in the drawers.

But you can shape how you go through the next few months as a society and a community.

One option: create stunning images together that realistically trace the path. Schools, employers, giving people the opportunity to prepare for action in due time. These images also have a positive effect on people.
