Rapids striker Andrija Pavlovic leaves the Bundesliga club for good.
The 26-year-old Serbian striker, who was loaned to APOEL Nicosia the previous season, moved to Danish first division club Brondby, where he signed a four-year contract. Therefore, Rapid has added a great source of income to the team in tight economic times.
Now fix: #Pavlovic it is @skrapid payroll, changes to Brondby. Despite the inglorious ending near Copenhagen, the Serb still has a good name in Denmark.
There were no prospects for deployments in Rapid. Success bonuses could follow. #winwin # scr2020 @skysportaustria– Phillip Lautischer (@Sky_PhillipL) September 19, 2020
Pavlovic arrived at Rapid in the summer of 2018 with some praise up front, but then fell for a long time with a muscle tear in the hip area. After his comeback, he made a total of 29 competitive matches for Grün-Weiß, in which he scored eight goals. According to the newspaper “Kurier”, the transfer fee paid by Rapid at that time was 1.6 million euros including the Europa League bonus.
