This was announced by the country’s labor and economic chamber. The Wiener Neudorf rapid test lane is fully operational.

AKNÖ President Markus Wieser stressed on Friday that “security for employees and companies” would be created. Lower Austrian President Wolfgang Ecker spoke of “clarity and predictability” through rapid test results.

The numerous inquiries and records would show the importance of the measure. The showcase project throughout Austria is also being followed with great interest in other federal states. Therefore, Wieser and Ecker believe that the federal government should take the initiative immediately and offer it to all employees and companies.

Testing in the test street or by mobile equipment

Registration for the pilot project is done online at: https://www.amz.at/corona-schnelltests or by phone at 0664/2678421. According to AKNÖ and WKNÖ, in 15 minutes it is clear if there is a suspicious case. After evaluating the data from the Mödling district, the implementation of the rapid corona tests is planned for all of Lower Austria.
