After a bank robbery in the Hollabrunn district on Friday, police are searching for a stranger who escaped the crime scene by bicycle.
The Alberndorf branch in the Raiffeisenbank Seefeld-Hadres Pulkautal in the Hollabrunn district was the scene of a robbery on Friday afternoon.
An initially unknown person escaped with prey at an undisclosed height, said Walter Schwarzenecker of the Lower Austrian state police department. An alarm chase was unsuccessful. The State Criminal Police Office determined it.

According to the police spokesman, it was not yet clear whether there was a man or a woman at work. Nor was information available in the late afternoon regarding the weapons.
In any case, the assailant, described as about 1.65 meters tall, fled with a gray bicycle on which a child seat was also mounted. The indicated clothing was a black waterproof jacket with a hood, dark pants, gray gloves with a red logo and light shoes with white ribbons.
