The private sale of a game console intensified on Christmas Eve in Vienna-Landstrasse. A 43-year-old and a 16-year-old wanted to buy a Playstation 5 from a 35-year-old on Lechnerstrasse. The agreement was designed through an online platform. According to police spokesman Christopher Verhnjak, the seller was unable to produce an invoice, leading to a dispute.
WEGA arrested the man
The 35-year-old man pulled out a knife and threatened customers with killing them. They notified the police, the aggressor fled to a residential building, where the executive located him. With the support of the Vienna Task Force Alarms Department (WEGA) and the reserve unit, the man was arrested without resistance.
