ProSieben fell apart. On Thursday night, the station tweeted an image that clearly showed the finalists for Season 15. Soon after, the tweet disappeared, a day later, ProSieben commented on it and announced the date for the final. Attention spoilers!
Another three weeks are needed before the grand finale of “Germany’s Next Topmodel” takes place. While eight of the eight candidates officially fight for the top-model crown after episode 13 of 16, the station experienced a serious misstep on Thursday night.
As confirmed by several Twitter users, the station accidentally posted an image to show the four finalists. In the image, the words: “Congratulations on the end of GNTM.” The tweet was removed a few moments later.

The following candidates can be seen in the image, which Twitter user Burak was apparently able to capture in time: Anastasia, Tamara, Sarah P., and Lijana.
GNTM End: ProSieben names the date
The Twitter community is especially horrified by one thing: Where’s Jacky, who won two jobs in the last two episodes (here on the couch to read) and was able to convince Heidi Klum more and more of himself?
“Without Jacky,” asks a user in amazement. And another user clarifies in another post: “I would rather have seen Jacky in the final.”
Some users also expect the photo to be fake or one of several prepared images that would have covered all eventualities. A user is convinced of the former. He is sure: “No, Jacky is safe in the final.”
Meanwhile, ProSieben has commented on the breakdown. A stern.de spokeswoman said: “Our social media team made a small technical mistake. But nothing is what it seems. Whoever is in the #GNTM final will be informed to the audience on May 14 at the end of the semifinals. ”
Contrary to what many had previously assumed, the GNTM final will not take place on May 14, but on May 21 in Berlin. ProSieben has now confirmed this.
