Gerwyn Price from Wales has reached the final of the Darts World Cup in London for the first time. On Saturday, the former rugby professional defeated England’s Stephen Bunting 6-4 in the semifinals, thus maintaining his chance to become world number one for the first time after the World Cup.
Price would have to win the final on Sunday (8:30 pm), which he will play against the winner of Gary Anderson. The Scotsman won 6: 3 in the second semi-final against Dave Chisnall, who had beaten Michael van Gerwen 5: 0 the day before.

The muscular Welshman Price would not only receive the 23 kilogram Sid Waddel Trophy, but also a cash prize of 500,000 pounds. “The Bullet” Bunting had surprisingly reached the semi-finals and had beaten former European champion James Wade along the way.
