Vienna (OTS / RK) – At the Landstrasse district museum (3rd, Sechskrügelgasse 11), Christian Hlavac will address the theme “Italian Traces in and around Landstrasse” on Wednesday 9 September. The presentation of images begins at 6.30 pm Admission is free, donations are welcome. The museum director, Herbert Rasinger, requests that you register for the event by email: [email protected].
That night, Hlavac talks about Italian immigrants from all walks of life who were once drawn to the Viennese city. From merchants and workers to artists, a wide variety of people from Italy left their mark on the Landstrasse district in ancient times. The speaker describes the actions of immigrants and their influence in District 3 in words and pictures. A visit to the district’s history collection is also recommended. The museum is open on Wednesdays from 4 pm to 6 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm Admission is free.
