School operations will resume in stages. This means that starting Monday, the final classes can return to schools. Not later than May 11, those graduating years will follow next year. For all other grades, including elementary school classes, schools are closed for now. The Ministry of Culture should provide daily masks for all teachers and, if possible, for all students, provided they have none. Although there is no general obligation, the Minister of Culture Michael Piazolo (free voters) considers the masks to be appropriate in certain situations, for example, when he arrives at the school building or uses the bathroom.
Brandenburg and Berlin
Anyone who drives or buys buses and trains must wear a mask in Brandenburg and Berlin starting Monday. This applies to everyone who is at least six years old. You must wear everyday masks on public transport and in retail. The red-black-green state government sees operators’ control of the mask requirement on local public transportation. However, there are no penalties: there is no catalog of fines for this, as opposed to violating the rules for distances or meetings.
Starting April 27, tenth grade students will return to class in Berlin. Beginning May 4, grades 6 will follow in the elementary and elementary levels of the community schools, grades 9 and 12 in the integrated high schools and community schools, and grade 11 in the high schools. The final years of vocational school, vocational school, technical college, vocational school, and technical schools also return to class for exam preparation on this date.
Also in Brandenburg, schoolchildren who wish to qualify for technical university or advanced vocational training this year can return to school. These are the tenth grades in high schools, comprehensive schools, high schools, and special schools. Classes also begin again for exam preparation for various courses at higher level centers and technical schools. Students who plan to graduate from school next year and sixth graders will begin on May 4; and then on May 11th the fifth graders.
A learning group in Brandenburg must always be taught in the same room, group work is prohibited. In high schools, half go to school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the other half on Tuesday and Thursday, then exchange for a week. In elementary schools, groups should generally be divided into two rooms.
Hesse
After six weeks without classes in the classrooms, the first students return on Monday. However, this only applies to students in the final grades. The Administrative Court decision prevented fourth graders from starting school on Friday. Strict hygiene measures are applied. Among other things, a minimum distance of one and a half meters should also be kept at the tables.
