Innsbruck – A woman was injured in a serious car accident on Friday afternoon. The 74-year-old man drove east on Museumstrasse on the bike path at 11:35 a.m. At the same time, a 22-year-old was driving his van down Museumstrasse in the same direction. Then the Austrian wanted to turn right onto Brunecker Strasse.

According to police, the man overlooked the cyclist, knocked her down with the right front of the truck and ran over the Austrian. The woman was seriously injured and the ambulance took her to the Innsbruck clinic. The 74-year-old man broke several bones, but is currently out of danger. (TT.com)
