Vienna (OTS) – Nadja Bernhard tested positive for a corona infection and is ill with Covid-19. Due to ORF’s strict security concept, there is no infection risk based on it in the ORF or the ZIB editorial team. Ms. Bernhard completed her last ZIB service last Tuesday (Nov 10) and had no contact with ORF colleagues afterward. On Thursday (November 12) he was routinely tested negative outside the ORF. After symptoms appeared, another external test on Friday (November 13) came back positive.
As a precautionary measure, fellow ZIB moderator Tarek Leitner tested negative today (Nov 15).
Nadja Bernhard’s illness, who is in private quarantine, has been very mild to date. The ORF wishes Ms Bernhard a speedy recovery and urges the representatives of the media to refrain from personal contact.
