Sports Minister Werner Kogler, Health Minister Rudolf Anschober and officials from the league and ÖFB will announce it on Tuesday.
The top division is expected to resume play starting June 2 with no spectators. Before that, the Uniqa ÖFB Cup final between defending champion Red Bull Salzburg and second division Austria Lustenau will take place on May 30 as the first game after Corona’s break.
More information will be available after the Bundesliga club conference on Wednesday. “If full training begins on May 15, we can start in the first week of June,” said Ebenbauer.
In the Bundesliga, ten rounds are still pending in the master and qualification groups after completing the basic round. Finally, three games have to be played in the Europa League playoffs.
