SK Rapid can celebrate the new season with a perfect first week of competitive matches!
The 1-0 win over Lokomotiva Zagreb in the Champions League standings is followed by a 5-0 win over TSV St. Johann in the first round of the ÖFB Cup.
Rapid has everything under control against the Salzburg regional league team from the start and quickly takes the lead through Taxiarchis Fountas (12th) and Ercan Kara (22nd). Never mind a penalty frivolously awarded by Fountas (31).
