He headed the local editorial office in Baden for five years before moving to NÖN’s headquarters in St. Pölten as head of art and media in 1991. With his unparalleled feeling for language, his enormous specialist knowledge, and his lifelong attempt to defend himself against copying, he had trained entire generations of journalists and, most recently, as director of the NÖN Academy, made a particular effort to ensure that the fundamental values of journalism are also future editors. In addition to his journalistic work, Prof. Thomas Jorda was also the author of several books, among them “Let me play the lion too” (2007), “Young talents.
