Police and the judiciary carried out one of the largest raids in Austria in decades on Monday. The target was the Islamic Muslim Brotherhood network.

Starting at 5 a.m., the police and the judiciary intervened in dozens of places at the same time: house searches were carried out in more than 60 addresses, mainly in the Graz area, in the Liezen district and in the federal capital. The action was directed against supporters of the so-called Muslim Brotherhood and its Palestinian wing, Hamas, which has been banned as a terrorist organization in the EU for almost 20 years.
