The gastronomy must be closed, there are exit restrictions between 8 pm and 6 am Schools should remain open this time.
On Saturday the government wants to announce the timetable for the closure. Before that, however, there is still a video discussion with the countries. The “press” has a first draft of the planned regulation, which must be renewed every ten days and will be applicable from next week (when it is still open). Individual points also require, if necessary, this can be done after, the approval of the National Council.
So if nothing else is traded, the population expects the following:
Exit restrictions: The biggest restrictions will be the expected exit regulations. It should be prohibited to leave the private living room between 8 pm and 6 am But there will be exceptions to the exit restriction, and they are more extensive than in the spring. Five reasons are listed in the draft. The house can be left to avoid “immediate danger to life, limbs and property”. The same applies to caring for people in need of support and the fulfillment of family duties. The basic necessities of daily life can also be covered. You can also go out at night to relax physically and mentally.
Gastro: The bars are closed. Even food collection is restricted. Because in restaurants, even to take away, it is 8:00 p.m. A pick-up service can be offered from 6 a.m. The dining rooms (workplaces, hospitals, nursing homes, nurseries), dining cars and hotel restaurants remain open for guests of this accommodation (until 8 pm later than).
Hotels: Hotels also have to close again. But those whose vacations are already running out can enjoy it to the intended end, according to the draft. Otherwise, only people on business trips or those who need a place to stay can have rooms.
Shop: This time, in contrast to the first lockdown, retail has escaped a shutdown, but personal restrictions are making a comeback. There must be ten square meters available for each customer. If the store is smaller, only one person can be admitted.
Theater: It is forbidden to enter the leisure facilities. This applies, among other things, to theaters and cinemas, but also to cabarets and dance schools. After all, zoos, museums, and libraries remain open.
Offices: The federal government recommended working from home from the beginning, whenever possible. But there are still no stricter measures in the regulation. A distance of at least one meter should be maintained between people at the place of professional activity, as indicated there, unless the risk of infection can be minimized by appropriate protective measures. A mask requirement, where it is not required anyway, can only be waived with the agreement of the employer and the employee.
Sport: You can not make visits to the gym and other sports courses (unless they are outdoors). Sport is still possible in principle, but only if you don’t get too close physically. So: jogging yes, playing football no. Only professional athletes can carry out their work more or less without restrictions. Audience is not allowed at events.
Nursing Homes and Retirement Homes: Visitors can only enter the facility if they take an antigen test at the entrance. Or: Always wear an FFP2 mask. One visitor per day per patient is allowed (exception: hospice and hospice). Employees must perform a molecular biology or antigen test twice a week. The same rules apply to hospitals and spas, except for the restriction to one person per day.
Events: Most events are prohibited, including weddings. Only funerals can continue to be held, but only 50 mourners are allowed. Meetings of organs of political parties or events for religious purposes are excluded from the event ban.
Schools: Unlike spring, kindergartens and schools will not have to close this time. You want to keep them open as long as possible. As now it is handled internationally. Schools have not become major sources of infection. That is why there was an unusual traffic light change on Friday. Corona’s stoplight has turned red in most districts. The independent school traffic light will now (continue or again) turn yellow. All federal states have decided to do this. Only Tirol does not want to commit until Saturday. This means that (almost) all high school students will go back to school after fall break. (ath / pri / jn / ib)
