Another place on the podium will be difficult for the Austrian Nordic combined athletes in the second competition in Ruka.
The best Austrian after jumping is Franz-Josef Rehrl in fifth place. The 27-year-old is already 49 seconds behind Jarl Magnus Riiber, who will be the leader in the 10 km of cross-country skiing. Akito Watabe (JPN) starts 14 seconds behind the winner on Friday.
Johannes Lamparter, who was second on Friday after winning the jump, is now seventh today, 1:04 minutes behind.
Philipp Orter (+1: 44 min) and Lukas Greiderer (1:45) are still in ninth and tenth place, Thomas Jöbstl is twelfth (1:58). Mario Seidl has to make up 2:02 minutes on the 15th.
